Qualicum Beach Waterfront Real Estate

The homes for sale on the Qualicum Beach waterfront are primarily built in the popular architectural styles of the region. Most of the listings on the market are cottage and West Coast style homes built with impressive wooden beams, stone masonry, and large windows and decks to take in every angle of the beachfront. Waterfront homes in Qualicum Beach typically also have high-end furnishes and upgrades, making for a great year-round home or investment opportunity in the growing rental market. Additionally, vaulted ceilings, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, hardwood floors, and driveway gates are other common features of these beautiful properties.

In some of the most desirable homes, private, fenced-in yards allow for direct access to the water and/or the beach. Living on the Qualicum Beach waterfront means having the option of taking your kayak or boat out, or simply enjoying the ocean sounds over morning coffee.

Top Qualicum Beach Waterfront Highlights & Attractions

As a community, Qualicum Beach is perhaps most well-known for its friendly neighbours, numerous events held throughout the year, and (of course) its beach. During low tide, you can walk quite a ways down on the sand, and the area is a particular favourite of those with kids and/or dogs.

While there are a selection of waterfront properties along the shoreline, there are also a few select shops and restaurants, too, for those strolling along the beach. Additionally, two bus lines run along the highway: the 98 weaves through Qualicum Beach, while the 99 takes passengers to and from Parksville. Other highlights of Qualicum Beach include Heritage Forest (a large, centrally-located park with forest trails),  Milner Gardens & Woodland (the botanical gardens, owned by Vancouver Island University), the Qualicum Beach Museum (which provides an overview of local history), Pheasant Glen Golf Resort, and the Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Course.
